Dr. Sukhi Ajimal has extensive experience organizing clinical research studies, performing study enrollments, and managing research teams. He has done several presentations and publications within the cardiovascular and emergency medicine space. Dr. Ajimal interests within the healthcare space include value-based care, medical devices, digital health, and access to care.
In the past, Sukhi has been extensively involved with clinical research at Detroit Medical Center, helping initiate a clinical trial that examines cardiovascular health.
Dr. Ajimal is part of the TechTown MedHealth division and assists entrepreneurs in the healthcare space with idea development, research, grants, funding, and other services. MedHealth is continuously looking for ways to support healthcare innovators as they work towards commercialization or other business milestones.
Sukhi also works with Woodward Angels, an angel investment firm, evaluating life sciences deals.
He was the cofounder of Nutroit LLC, a startup company that is investigating the effectiveness of personalized micronutrition as a means of recovery for patients with cardiovascular disease.
